Carbon Scheme Worries Aussie Dairy Farmers
AUSTRALIA - Concerns about the Federal Government's Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme have dominated a tour of south-west Victoria by the president of the Victorian Farmers Federation, Andrew Broad.

ABC reports that Mr Broad has been touring the region and talking to local farmers during the past week.
He has been to the Rural Industry Skills Training Centre in Hamilton, the Demo Dairy in Terang and Warrnambool's Midfield Meats.
Mr Broad says dairy farmers are concerned about the effect the scheme could have on their businesses.
"The dairy industry in this region is contributing $4.5 billion to the local economy," he said.
"It is the one that I think is going to be hit the hardest on the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme snd that's why there is such a level of concern about what is a fundamentally flawed piece of legislation."
