Print This Page Export Refunds Reintroduced after Dairy Industry Lobbying
Uk - Dairy UK has welcomed the European Commission’s decision to reopen support measures for the EU dairy sector."Export refunds have been the objective of intense and protracted lobbying by Dairy UK, with key support from Northern Ireland’s political establishment," said a Dairy UK spokesman.
"It is now vital that the Commission delivers on this promise of help for the EU’s dairy market, by setting realistic levels of support next week.
"This alone will determine the impact of the measures announced today."
