Dhofar Cattle Feed explores Pakistan Market

OMAN - Dhofar Cattle Feed Company (DCF), one of the largest agriculture and investment groups in Oman, is exploring the Pakistani dairy market in a big way.

The company is exploring business opportunities in Pakistan’s dairy, poultry and vegetable oil sectors. Engineer Saeed Salem Al Shanfari, general manager and managing director of Dhofar Cattle Feed Company, is currently visiting Pakistan to explore business opportunities.

Pak Oman Investment Company, a 50:50 joint venture between the governments of Oman and Pakistan, organised the visit for exploring the possibilities of establishing joint ventures in dairy, poultry and vegetable oil sectors. “We are exploring business opportunities in Pakistan. We are so encouraged with the Pakistani government’s initiatives to promote dairy business. We, DCF, have been in dairy and agriculture business for the last several years. Of late, we invested more than $25 million in our existing businesses. Our ‘Al Safwah’ brand is a household name today. We also operate a poultry farm and vegetable oil processing and packing facilities in Salalah,” DCF GM said at the Karachi International Airport.
