Fonterra reshuffles ingredients leadership ahead of CEO transition

Two senior executives step up as Richard Allen prepares to take the top job

Fonterra has made interim changes to the leadership of its Global Ingredients business as Richard Allen prepares to step into the CEO role on 1 May 2026, the co-operative announced.

Elisa Giusti, currently Executive Vice President Global Ingredients Growth and based in Chicago, will become President Global Ingredients Growth, with the ingredients risk, pricing and optimisation, innovation, science and technology, and R&D functions reporting to her.

Gaby Amade, currently President Middle East, Africa, Europe & SEA for Global Ingredients and based in Dubai, will take on the role of President Global Ingredients Sales and Operations, with the ingredients teams in Greater China, the Americas, Oceania and North Asia reporting to her.

Both executives will join Fonterra's Management Team. The changes are described as interim until a permanent structure is confirmed.
