DNA LandMarks offers excellent genotyping service at very competitive rates. We are an Illumina CS Pro Certified lab and offer service for all 3 of Illumina's popular bovine arrays:

Bovine 770K HD panel

The Bovine HD bead array from Illumina has 777,000 SNP markers that evenly cover the entire bovine genome. This high density SNP arrays allows for a variety of applications including genome wide selection, identification of quantitative trait loci, cross-breed mapping, linkage disequilibrium studies, comparative genetic studies and breed characterization for evaluating biodiversity.

Bovine SNP50

The Bovine SNP50 array consists of 54,609 SNP markers evenly spaced across the genome. It has been widely used for determination of genetic merit.

Bovine 3K

Introduced last year as a lower-cost alternative to broaden access to genome-wide analysis. The Bovine 3K consists of 2,900 SNPs spanning the entire bovine genome. These SNPs were selected from the 50K array and allow researchers to impute the data of approximately 50,000 SNPs. Therefore this array provide an economical option to carrying out applications including screening of bulls/dams for mating potential genetic improvements, determination of genetic merit for valuable traits, parentage verification and cattle traceability.
