NEW ZEALAND - The Theileria Veterinary Handbook 2 (August 2015) for veterinarians is now available.
It's a valuable reference for all veterinarians who are dealing with, or are likely to deal with clinical Theileria-associatied bovine anaemia (TABA), and importantly, for those advising on managing the impact of the disease and on stock movement within, into, and out of the ‘Theileria classified zones.’

This has been published by the Ministry for Primary Industries for the Theliera Working Group.
The first Theileria Veterinary Handbook (June 2014) was designed as a ‘ready-to-use’ reference for veterinarians which provided up to date information at the time.
Feedback shows that this handbook has been very useful, however we now have a wider understanding of the disease, in particular on strategies to manage the disease at herd and regional level.
