DairyCo To Look at Forage Management at Livestock Event17 June 2014
UK - This year’s interactive British Grassland Society Forage Field at the Livestock Event on 2 and 3 July at the NEC, Birmingham focuses on seven key steps for successful forage management.
Here you can learn about the latest developments in growing, measuring, protecting and ensiling grass and forage. DairyCo will be joining technical experts from the British Grassland Society, Germinal Seeds, Dow Agrosciences, Lallemand and Volac to answer any forage related queries you may have.
The stand will cover:
- Soil health – is your soil fit for purpose?
- Reseeding vs. overseeding – options for new leys
- Weeds out, grass in – getting in control of your weeds
- Getting more from grazed grass
- Maximising clamp silage value
- Improving baled silage
- How quality forage drives profit in all systems.
On the DairyCo stand this year you will have the opportunity to chat with some of our levy ambassadors who have been working closely with DairyCo.
