Here you can learn about the latest developments in growing, measuring, protecting and ensiling grass and forage. DairyCo will be joining technical experts from the British Grassland Society, Germinal Seeds, Dow Agrosciences, Lallemand and Volac to answer any forage related queries you may have.

The stand will cover:

  1. Soil health – is your soil fit for purpose?
  2. Reseeding vs. overseeding – options for new leys
  3. Weeds out, grass in – getting in control of your weeds
  4. Getting more from grazed grass
  5. Maximising clamp silage value
  6. Improving baled silage
  7. How quality forage drives profit in all systems.

On the DairyCo stand this year you will have the opportunity to chat with some of our levy ambassadors who have been working closely with DairyCo.

On Wednesday Hugh McClymont, Dairy Farmer of the Year Award 2013 winner and Janette Prince, organic dairy farmer and DairyCo Board member will be on stand. On Thursday we will be joined by dairy farmer Jim Franklin. Both Jim and Janette are proactively involved in the DairyCo consumer campaign Discover Dairy

Hugh will be available to discuss the difference winning an award makes to your business. Janette will be talking about her work to engage consumers. Jim is a keen advocate of social media and will be pleased to share his experience. Please check on the day for exact timings.

DairyCo's stand is number GE 25 in hall 18.
