Only seven trades so far this week has resulted in a fall in Barrel values which is well under the $1.7720 average price of last week.

Losses were also seen in Cheddar Blocks which closed 1.25 cents lower after light interest. This left the price on $1.7700, more than three cents adrift of last week’s average of $1.8010.

In the dairy futures market, Class IV October milk gained (up four cents to $20.19) while Class III lost 12 cents (closing at $17.92).

Little movement was seen elsewhere other than October Butter futures which moved from $1.5980 to $1.6148.
