Artisan Nordic Cheeses Expected To Delight American Consumers
US – European dairy foods giant Arla is launching an artisan cheese brand in New York this autumn.

The produce is to hit ‘high-end’ restaurants with the ‘Unika series’, a range of four Scandinavian style cheeses.
Since 2011, Gnalling, Krondill, Havgus and Høgelundgaard cheeses have been available in specialist shops in Sweden and Denmark but Asger Jorgensen, Managing director of Arla Foods USA expects popularity to spread fast.
“We believe these cheeses will win over the hearts of many fine-dining guests here as they have already done in Scandinavia,” said Mr Jorgensen.
Hand selected Manhattan and Brooklyn eateries will receive the products on October the 14th .
