Daily Dairy Trading: Quiet Spot Trade Continues, Thursday

US – Cheddar Blocks were the only mover in the CME spot market yesterday, lifting half a cent as limited trading continued for the week.

Two trades raised Blocks to $1.7750 and six trades for the week. Barrels have not traded since the price increases of last week left price at $1.7600

Class III August milk closed up two cents to $17.82. Class IV August Milk closed down five cents to $19.29.

Cheese futures for the month closed unchanged - $1.7540.

August Whey edged lower from $0.5875 to $0.5865, Butter pushed slightly higher $1.4725.

August Non-fat Dry Milk closed on $1.7700, not moving
