Daily Dairy Trading: Steady Trading Sees Cheddar Block Movement, Tuesday

US – One Cheddar Block traded for 0.75 cents more on Tuesday in what has been a week of limited spot market trading.

Movement left the last Block call on $1.7700 and brought the number of trades for the week to four.

Butter traded unchanged on $1.4300, showing consistency after last week’s price tumble from the average of $1.4835.

In the futures market, August Butter edged down from $1.4728 to $1.4715 as did Whey which closed on $0.5875.

Class III August milk lifted two cents to close on $17.84, as did Class IV which rose to $17.84.

Half a cent increase was seen in August Cheese which closed on $1.7540.
