Daily Dairy Cash Trading: Cheese Lifts Again, Nonfat Dry Milk Unchanged, Thursday

US – Cheese lifted on Thursday’s spot price gains leaving Barrels at $1.7425 and Blocks at $1.7400 after an active day’s trade.

Cheddar Block trades have risen to 33 for the week with 12 trades taking place on Thursday. Butter also sold well with 12 trades which closed unchanged on $1.5413.

No changes were seen in Nonfat dry milk. Grade A stayed on $1.6900 and Extrade Grade on the average for the last two weeks at $1.7000.

Class III June futures closed up 3 cents finishing the day on $18.06 with Class IV ahead but unchanged on $19.03.

Upwards movement in June Cheese futures saw a small lift $1.7710-$1.7750.
