Milk Production Decrease Continues
UK - The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) has received details from milk purchasers of the amount of milk which was produced in October 2012.

The United Kingdom wholesale milk deliveries totalled 993.1 million litres in October, bringing the cumulative total for the year to 7,810.9 million litres.
This monthly figure, which is provisional, is the lowest figure that defra have for the last nine years. Contrastingly, the Butterfat figure is relatively high however at 4.2 per cent alongside Protein at 4.02 per cent.
