The group is looking to set up a similar board in Myanmar, which will provide technical support to producers and assist in setting up processing plants and training facilities.

The Myanmar Minister of Agriculture also requested NDDB's help in establishing a dairy framework and cooperatives.

While visiting the Mansinh Institute of Training (MIT), Mehsana, run by NDDB, the delegation observed NDDB’s efforts in training dairy plant technicians.

The delegation took keen interest in NDDB’s Fodder Demonstration Unit and Methane Laboratory and other pilot plants for Urea Molasses Block production, Mineral Mixture and Bypass Protein. They also visited the largest semen station in the country.

The delegation visited IDMC’s (a wholly owned subsidiary of NDDB) units that manufacture dairy equipment and packaging.
