Internships Provide Experience In Dairy Industry
US – This summer, nearly 30 college students and recent graduates are gaining valuable professional experience as interns for Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. (DFA) at offices, manufacturing plants and labs throughout the country.

While learning more about the dairy industry, DFA interns are gaining experience in a variety of fields including communications, engineering, finance, marketing and public policy.
“DFA’s internship program provides a great deal of value to the Cooperative,” said Michael Lichte, director of dairy marketing.
“Interns help with a variety of projects and assist with the Cooperative’s day-to-day activities. In return, DFA provides interns with valuable real-world experience that can not be replicated in a classroom.
"The programme also helps recruit talented employees who are the future of the industry and DFA.”
DFA internships are available each summer throughout the United States.
