The Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin (PDPW) is holding its Hoof Care Training Sessions on April 20 at the University of Wisconsin Ag Research Station in Marshfield; and April 21 at the Fox Valley Technical College in Chilton.

These one-day seminars will showcase new strategies in foot health that will help producers address dairy cow lameness.

World renowned hoof expert Dr. Jan Shearer will jump-start the session highlighting hoof care, anatomy and management. Other speakers include Dr. David Rhoda, Jerry Bowman and Karl Burgi. There will also be one-of-a-kind labs with cadavers to show you everything from first symptoms to what's really happening inside the hoof.

Registration for Hoof Care Training Sessions are $125 for PDPW members and $175 for non-members.
