Milk Price Figures Show Slow Increase
UK - The average UK November 2010 farmgate price stood at 26.16ppl, 0.53ppl up on the previous month and 1.29ppl (5.2 per cent) more than November 2009, according to the latest DEFRA figures.

Regionally, the GB average price stood at 25.94ppl in November 2010. This was an increase of 0.35ppl (1.4 per cent) compared to the previous month and an increase of 1.18ppl (4.8 per cent) compared to November 2009. The Northern Ireland (NI) average for November stood at 27.66ppl, an increase of 1.79ppl compared to October and 1.98ppl (7.7 per cent) more than the previous year.
