EUROTIER: Increasing The Competitiveness Of Cattle

GERMANY - An Eastern European Conference at EuroTier will focus on the customs union established to increase the competitiveness of beef production in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

At this special regional focus conference on Wednesday 17 November 2010, topics addressed will relate to the integration of markets between the European Union and the customs union, as well as the trends and challenges of cattle production in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.

Organisers say that visitors can expect a diverse and engaging discussion as expert speakers from government bodies, business and trade organisations share their analysis and perspectives on the issue.

The conference is organised by DLG, the Federal Ministry for Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV), the German Cattle Breeders Federation and The Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations.

The event takes place at the Convention Center (CC), Room 3B, from 11 to 14 h. Attendance to the conference is free but prior registration is required.
