Welsh Vaccines in Jeopardy

WALES, UK - Bluetongue vaccine doses worth an estimated £3m may have to be written off in Wales if farmers fail to jab their animals this spring.

Some 5.25 million doses are available for use in Wales but they are all due to expire over the months up to June.

All the doses are left over from last year’s campaign when many Welsh farmers shied away from buying in supplies.
