According to ABC news, the Efficient Water Energy and Nutrient project identifies ways farmers can achieve this, and then gives them the technical and funding assistance to make it happen.

EWEN co-ordinator Nick Bullock says farmers are busy milking cows and growing pasture, and don't have a lot of time to research new technologies.

"So this is a project to bring together all that information and bring it together in a format that farmers can access, so that they can get to the point where they can say, 'Yes, that's a good idea, it's worth my while doing it, I can find my dollars to actually implement it and actually get it done'."
