Print This Page Bulgarian Meat/Milk Inspections Required For Export To EU
BULGARIA - All Bulgarian meat and milk producers wanting to export to the European Union were to be inspected by the National Veterinary Service (NVS) during the period from January 9-15, according to the Ministry of Agriculture.Those producers approved by the NVS would then be inspected by European Union inspectors from January 22 to February 2 to ensure that they comply with EU laws.
A second EU team will inspect Bulgaria’s border control system for livestock and livestock products from January 15-25.
This team will inspect storage facilities, customs warehouses and producers.
