Default weight gain and growth rates

What is the typical weight gain or growth rate of cattle when they are being fattened or finished.
I cant find a value anywhere! I am looking for a kg/day or something similar. I thought it would be about 1-1.5kg/day but i am not sure.
Thank you.
Katie

Hi Katie,
It will all depend on the sex and breed and what rearing system is being used but as a fairly rough guide it will be from 0.8kg to 1.5kg bdywght per/day.
Hope this helps ?
Jon
