"Torito" AI Method

Under "Beef News" on this site on Friday, there was an article ("Can AI method improve beef cattle efficiency?") about Marco Hidalgo, a Mexican veterinarian who demonstrated a new method of AIing cattle at an Illinois Farm Bureau meeting. Hidalgo asserts that the 'Torito' method of artificially inseminating cattle: 1) could be done without putting an arm in the cow; 2) could improve AI efficiency by up to 20% and 3) didn't require an AI technician.

The article wasn't very specific (maybe intentionally so) in describing the method, but it had something to do with a tube, a balloon and bypassing the cervix. From the article, the method was kind of hard to visualize.

Has anyone seen or used the "Torito" method and can explain it a little bit better?

It's a pity yhat nothing seems to be available on the 'Torito' AI system, possibly the forum moderators could locate some further information for this post?
