Default need advice

can anyone tell me what would make me more employable on a dairy farm,i can milk but im only used to using a manual parlour,although someone has explained and let me try the automatic parlour a couple of times,i only have about 6 months farming experience from 9 years ago.and would love to train and do a nvq.i thought doing the AI and foot trimming courses would help do you think it would.i have been doing a home study course on dairy cattle and have learnt a lot from that.thanks
