Hi Rena, I knew several ranchers in Africa using these cattle both pure and in crosses, the calves out of an Angus will be about 70 lbs then grow quickly due to the Heterosis effect as the Mashona has developed over 5000 years in isolation to European breeds so has no close relationship with the Angus.
