It's always got to do with feed intake, no matter what. The level of energy (which determines level of fat content in the milk) and protein (which influences protein content in the milk) in the feed and grasses is what will influence the fat and protein content in the milk. Higher the fibre in the feed, the lower the quality of milk.

Problem is, we have no idea where you are located so are ability to help you is very limited.
