PARAGUAY - The National Service Quality and Animal Health(SENACSA) reported that the first period of vaccination against the 2012 Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) outbreak is to begin throughout the country.
Cattle and buffaloes will be vaccinated from 1 February to 2 March 2012.
SENACSA states that this programme for the eradication of FMD is of vital importance and is a priority to the institution.
SENACSA aloso states that the programme is mandatory for the whole country.
