CANADA - The Canadian Food Inspection Agency has detected potential mad cow disease in a Manitoba cow. The reassuring news for consumers is that no part of the animal entered the food chain. The animal, a mature crossbred beef cow was born before 1997 when the feed ban came into effect in Canada.
