CANADA - The provincial government has announced $1.8 million in support for producers of other ruminants including sheep, goat, elk, deer and bison impacted by BSE. "We recognize that the whole of Saskatchewanā€™s ruminant livestock industry has been affected by the ongoing border closure,ā€¯ said Agriculture and Food Minister Mark Wartman who noted producers need this funding to preserve a core inventory of animals and ensure supply for marketing initiatives.To continue reading this article please click here
