Print This Page Contaminated Feed May Be Cause of Canada BSE Case
CANADA - Contaminated cattle feed, produced shortly after a 1997 ban designed to prevent mad cow disease, could be the cause of Canada's Jan. 11 case of the disease, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency said Friday. But detailed production records for the four types of feed eaten by the diseased cow, born in the spring of 1998, were not available, the CFIA said in its final report on Canada's third case of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or mad cow disease.To continue reading this article please click here
