Print This Page EC to help fund cattle scheme
EU - The European Commission has announced that it will part-fund a voluntary compensation scheme for British farmers once the Over-30 Months rule is replaced with a new testing regime for cattle. The arrangements will apply only to animals born before August 1996, which will still be banned from the food chain, and will be designed to help farmers adapt to changes associated with the end of the OTM rule.To continue reading this article please click here
